Prairie Dog of Germany | Mug
I chose Germany because on my mother’s side of the family, her ancestors came from the modern country of Germany in a state called Hessen. According to her, our ancestors came over here in the mid-1700s and settled in Virginia. Also, at the time my ancestors came to America, there was no country call Germany. It wasn’t until 1871 that the many central and northern European States that commonly spoke the German language unified as the country we have today.
This prairie dog graphic is a bit unusual because the lenses of the glasses are blue while the frames are yellow. I did this because had just put the black glass on the black part of the German flag, you wouldn’t be able to see the glasses.
